People are overreacting way too badly. As Martyn put it at PBS, this is "Conflicker C," the third iteration. Conflicker D is the next. Basically, this is just any other virus blown out of proportion by the media. It's nothing to concern yourself with anymore than any other Trojan virus.

I'm not buying the whole iTunes or Safari thing, but it is possible that it got ahold of major websites. A while back a huge news site my dad frequents got hit by a virus.
