I think I just post here? Sorry if I'm wrong, there's nothing clear saying otherwise. Also, this is an old tutorial - the methods may not be 100% correct. This was made for my forum. Don't rip please, I know it's not copyrighted. If you do steal it, I will hunt you down and beat you with a spoon. Anyways, here it is. For this tutorial you'll need Adobe Photoshop, and some basic knowledge of the tools. First, find the image you want to remove things from. I used this one here. Open it in photoshop, and paste it onto a blank document, as below.  Okays. Next we need our polygonal lasso tool, select from the menu as shown.  Cut round the object you need to remove, neat is not a problem, don't worry about it. Leave a little gap round the edges of the object as the patch tool works better like that.  Once done it should look a bit like this.  Next, select the patch tool. If it's not in the menu, click and hold where I show it in the menu, and you'll get an option for the patch tool.  Simply drag the selection, to a place that looks right.  Should look like this.  There we are. You have now (hopefully) removed an object from an image. If not, you've probably just got a nasty splode. Hope this works okay for you  |
