umm.. wtf is wikitionary? failure. I prefer to trust DICTIONARY's, in which case, you’d’ve is not a word. Is that Dictionaries with an apostrophe..?
How about a FAIL one? Meh, I'd have 'em both...
But still, you'd've still used the word before...

But still, you'd've still used the word before... Please read my post on Page 2 about the improper contraction "you'd've".

I did, but it's recognized as a contraction, much the same way the term "lol" is.

A contraction is combining two words such as "I am" to be "I'm". No word in the English dictionary contains two apostrophes. There may be a word or two that is a contraction of more than two words but there isn't two apostrophes involved. "You'd've" is not a word.

I know that, it was an example, as in "lol" is generally accepted as a word (or term) in modern speech, in much the same way "You'd've" is. Have you ever said it?
But according to Wiktionary, it is. There are no current publications in Oxford at the minute, but that was the same for "Chav" some years ago.

I have not said, nor have I ever heard anyone other than you say "you'd've" hence it is not a real word.

My communications teacher fall semester last year actually failed a kid because he said "lol" during a speech. It is not a word. And stop using Wiktionary. It's acting as if "woulda" is a word as well and as I said, it itself says that "you'd've" is nonstandard. It isn't a word. It's just people being freaking lazy.
