I've never seen an evolutionist go over the facts and prove that the universe could in fact be billions of years old That's because A) There is no such thing as an evolutionist and B) evolution does not and has never claimed to prove that the universe is any age. Here's the thing. Evolution is a fact. There is no debate about it. NO ONE in the scientific community disagrees with this. Only the religious right does. They are not scientists. Their "opinions" on scientific fact do not change a thing. Therefore, there is no debate to be had. Evolution has been proven a thousand times over. If it wasn't true, we would have no modern medicine.
