Hey i starting to learn Js and i was wondering if there are any good websites that can help me. Im currently using w3schools and nettuts Thanks Are you trying to learn JS to code for ProBoards or more for general usage? If for PB, we have a few decent intro to PB coding tuts here that'll help you. If you're trying to learn to code JS for a more standard website, I'd take a look at this. It looks pretty decent. Also, are you coming from a coding background in any other language?

Nope. Im new to coding. Also a more general use Do you know HTML and CSS then? You almost definitely should know HTML before trying any JS (it's fairly easy to understand) and CSS is pretty helpful if you're looking to do something like a drop down that dynamically appears. forum.sz-ex.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=codetuts&thread=2093Aaron's tutorial there does a decent job of introducing you to the basics of JavaScript and programming in general. forum.sz-ex.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=codetuts&thread=9917That tutorial by Devin is pretty good in explaining loops, which are used quite often in any language. Do you have anything you're looking to write specifically? Writing applicable code is always the best way to start (it'll spark interest and help you understand), so if you have anything you plan to write, it'd be the best place to start. (Also, that way we can help you walk through it.

Simie: I feel that tutorial is more of a "conversion" tutorial for those who know some other languages though.
