Physically, men are stronger, and more enduring to pain. It's all down to endocrinology, simply. Women just think they are experiencing more pain, simply because they have more nerve endings throughout the skin.

Seriously. -.- All of my guy friends (and I have quite a few) are sooo much more prone to complain about the tiniest scrapes and bruises than my female friends are. I whine more just because I need to whine about my guy friends whining. Last I heard, women did have a higher pain threshold. However, after research, I'm astounded. Because my own personal experience points to this as well, even if science seems to disprove it. [/size]

And yes, that is a bird's beak at the edge of the image. I felt it was unwise to include much of an animal apart from a hedgehog due to the distinct possibility of the contamination of the image.
