I could try changing it to "View new: (Posts - Threads)" or something. Someone wanna tell me what would work best? (Looking at you Joe and Josh. )

Keep it simple and stick with one or the other. I say you go with new threads. As Joe said, the text is even right now. Your eyes are naturally drawn to the text at the left so having more text at the right evens it out. Any more, though, and it would throw it off I think.
