Inheritance Cycle
Eragon, Eldest, Brisingr and Inheritance.

Anyone here read this series? I know many of you have probably seen the Eragon movie, (which was rubbish compared to the book, leave out major plot details? Why not.) but how many of you have read the books?

Also thoughts and opinions on the books? (if you have read it)

I read the books. I loved them, but the last was a bit meh...

Never read inheritance but I loved the first three! I've been meaning to re-read them. Which is your favorite?

I liked all of them. I really can't pick a favourite because they all have different aspects to them.

For me, Inheritance was only a bit meh because of the end...
...and by that I mean I stared at the final lines trying to contemplate that the series was over whilst my brain was screaming, "THERE'S SO MUCH MORE'.

I didn't like the end....i guess i won't spoil it for you Benjamin, but it was a bit weird and unexpected and if you ask me a lame ending to such a great story. The buildup was too big :P

My favorite was probably Brisinger, but I loved all of them so...

Yea. I first read the series when the third book came out... and reached the end to find out he was trolling us and we had another book...

...for me, there was a three year buildup. I wish he'd make another book as an epilogue or something... it can't just end... it needs MORE.

Heh... I still have multiple could-be plot lines in my head with different reasons for everything and whatnot...

Lots of them involved Tenga? (Tengu?) Yea, that guy.
...it's also a pity we never find out any of Angela's mysteries...

Yea...there were a lot of plotlines that sorta got left hanging...i don't remember which book it was in but he gave a blessing to this girl and her daughter. I thought for sure they would be important since he went out of his way to describe the whole thing, but they never showed up again :P

@nightwalker
Oh yea, I remember that! Didn't they appear in the final battle at the end of the fourth book? (although it was hardly important, they were just mentioned... I think...)

@texas
Brilliant! I never knew that. I think that's perfect... I mean she has been rather mysterious for... well all the books...
It would be nice to know more 'bout her.

Not good enough :P He just needs to become a better writer...he's good, but not good enough to write a Tolkien sized book and tie it all together well :P

That's also true. He's still young and so has time to improve.

Also, on a side note, Tolkien was a the baws of the fantasy writing industry...
