Specifically MGS4. The hour long cutscene really did it for me. No way has any game made a 1hr cut scene..  No, that actually happened. The game (from what I understand; I never played it myself) was very story driven, and that was accomplished via cut scenes. One in particular was literally about an hour long.

One in particular was literally about an hour long. Shenmue II for the original Xbox had a few cut scenes that were probably 30 minutes long. great game but holy fuck what a wait.

I hate to wait 30 seconds, let alone 30 minutes or more  I would've sold the game haha. I don't even like to wait for credits to run at the start of a movie. So annoying. I don't mind some though for that, depending on how good/funny they are  For every day life, believe it or not I am a very very patient person, but for stuff like this, I am far from it lol

Yeah and the annoying part is that there were QTE's in the middle of the cut scenes and if you failed, yep, re-watch.
