What is a file format that shows transparency on IE? I have mozilla firefox and I was checking out my site on IE because some of my members were saying the flash files weren't showing up, and came to find out that IE wouldn't show the transparency in all of my PNG and GIF files. As well my flash files weren't showing up, but I have asked an adobe forum about that.

GIFs will work cross-browser. However, they only support complete transparency, not translucency. PNGs support both (known as alpha blending). They work in every browser on the planet except versions of Internet Explorer 6 & below. There's a special code that you can use for that, though. Google "internet explorer png transparency".
