Samurai. If it's Japanese, don't add an 's'. Just don't. alright, didn't know that.  And to Josh, well, Samurai (and now I spelled it correct lol) are just waiting for the right time to arise again Until we see the rise of the Force, we won't have samurai. It's that simple. Especially the combat method. It just does not work to use a sword (as kickass and awesome as it is) against a missile or sniper rifle anymore.

yeah, you're right. But I still prefer their way of fighting than the ones used nowadays. I mean, back then you really got to see a man's strength. Now all you have to do is know how to push the trigger. Ok, maybe it's not that easy because you have to focuse on your enemy and all the other things you have to take care of but I guess you get my viewpoint.

Samurai and Ninja s (I'm being defiant) both deserve credit for their skills... It requires lots of dedication and training for them to be able to be that skilled. Much more than any other career choice (like pirates).

Samurai X, Samurai Champloo, and Afro Samurai. now, you list some amazing shows/movies that are based on Ninja s.  there's also One Piece, which even shows that Pirates > Ninja s. XD

From what i've read (and even from most movies) ninjas were/have been represented as the oppressed in a country where the samurai are used to enforce strict living conditions. Point being, from anything i've ever seen or read, they're never hired, they're always the underdog kicking samurai ass.

Pretty much any information about Ninja is a myth. So how do you build myths on myths? Half of what i'm reading there is taking the standpoint of (regardless of debunking) "everyone thinks this way." I'll read more into it later. So wait until I modify this post to gore me.
