I am working on implementing In-App Purchases for a VOD app I created using Adobe AIR. Was testing this morning and discovered that my in-app purchases were working fine, but the videos wouldn't play after the purchase had been made. Did some troubleshooting and discovered I was calling this.requestSoftKeyboard();instead of this.requestVideoURL();Code complete ftl.

Chris wanted me to remind his lazy self to fix the whitespace above the timestamp in posts, where the subject used to reside. My idea is to move the timestamp into the top bar and right align it, matching the font (as closely as possible, granted) used for the Japanese script on the left side.
So fix it, Chris. Jeez.

Not "shocking" as such, it's been expected for some time. Still sad though Not expected, just known that he wouldn't keep the job longer than he thought possible. His health hasn't been great since he returned in the late 90's and it was really only a matter of time before he stepped down permanently. In other news, Apple stock will crash today. I sincerely hope none of you owns any. EDIT: It dropped 10+ points in after hours trading.

So... two weeks ago, HP went ahead and lowered their TouchPad price from $500 and $600 (for 16GB and 32GB respectively) to $400 and $500. This week, the Pre 3 launched in Europe with rumors of a 64GB TouchPad coming as well as the American launch of the Pre 3 and a possible PC running webOS on the way.
Yesterday? They announced they are discontinuing every single webOS device, halting software development for the time being (they may re-enter the market as a license software developer, akin to Android and Windows Phone 7), and possibly shuttering its app market in Q4.
So a lot of people who loved the TouchPad and bought it when they lowered the price (like I did) got screwed yesterday by this announcement. Thankfully, I was within my return window and took it back to Best Buy about thirty minutes after the announcement came down. I wasn't the only one, either, there were three or four guys behind me in line returning their TouchPads as well
So now I have a 16GB iPad. The Galaxy Tab is a better tablet, but with the recent purchase of Motorola by Google, I would rather not get screwed over again.
Also interesting? Apparently HP, the world's single largest computer manufacturer, wants to leave the computer manufacturing game. If you have HP stock... keep an eye on it.

So this is a 1 year epic bump... but worthy of one. That bitch of a formula? I actually had to break it out today and modify a few greater than/less than symbols for another sheet I was putting together. That is actually quite awesome. Best part? I had the old file sitting in the recycling bin ready to be scrapped. Glad I didn't empty it.

Netflix has said on countless occasions it has no interest in the gaming market. Movies, TV, and possibly music seem to be their gig. There have been some rumors on Twitter saying Netflix could start broadcasting live concerts, too. Though nothing substantial has popped up about it.
