This happens to every forum though, especially around this time of year, with the end-of-school finals and then summer vacations and whatnot. And life just generally getting in the way of free time.

Yeah, it can be kind of confusing and overwhelming, at least that's how I saw it from a beginner's standpoint. I haven't really messed with the program since doing this though.

The new V5 forum dashboard makes it easier to keep track of them all! I love it.

I like it.

I didn't at first, but it kinda grew on me and now I really love how much cleaner and smoother it is than the previous versions. Plus, there's lots more features and it's easier to customize.

The only thing I don't like is how you can't customize the mini-profile yet. I haven't found any plugin or code to make the mini-profile look the way I had it previously (with tables and stuff to make it look more organized, much like what the profiles look like here). But I'm hoping maybe someone will make one soon, or I guess I could just request it.

I thought you could opt in to not have the change forced on you until like October or something though?

Yesterday, I decided to try out a tutorial for Apophysis 7x, which is used to make fractal renders. I look at fractal art every now and then on deviantART and it always inspires me because it's just so beautiful! And when I heard that the program was completely free, I just had to dig deeper into the process.

So here's my first attempt at fractal designing:



I love how easy it is to create this very beautiful and calming effect!

Yeah, that's why I said technically.

The Rush Hour movies I thought were done great though, with all the sequels and everything. But I think most of that was due to the amazing chemistry between Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker. If they'd had to do the sequels with different actors, it would have been horrible.

I hate when movies do that too.. using different people for what is supposed to be the same character. Like we're not supposed to notice or something? I hated when they did that for the Batman movies... Katie Holmes and Maggie Gyllenhaal don't even look alike to me. I know I guess they have to do that if the original actor/actress doesn't want to do the sequel, but it's just annoying.

I'm assuming you're excluding the Harry Potter films also? Because I think those "sequels" were well-done. Though technically they're not really sequels. Okay, I'm getting off track here.

I agree with what Lucifer said, they usually put more effort into the first and the original stuff has already been used. Pretty much sums it up very nicely.

They do an awesome song called Midnight City.

I can't say I'm too excited for this movie, but I will probably be seeing it this Friday night, seeing as after the preview came on TV last night, my boyfriend said we're going to the movies Friday night.

It did look interesting though, and I do like Tom Cruise, always have. And of course Morgan Freeman also. I usually like everything he's in.
