I don't remember some of those things you stated CD. But I do remember a few.

I do know I was here when this all started up. :D

I'm glad I joined to. Becuse SZ is going somewhere. And it's not Lala land either. :D

We can always make it into a lala studio ;)

Drop Joe and CD together in real life, lock us up in a room and force us to code and beautify the site and [slight sarcasm] we'll give you a rainbow wonderland that you're never forget XP[/slight sarcasm]

1. The smilies of SZ took 2 days to animate and re-animate them.

2. The idea of this textarea highlighting originates from Macromedia.com

3. Studio Zero has gone through about 3 graphical fixations. The mains areas that are fixed are the header and footer images, the quite link gradient

4. The layout you see right now is actually based the 4th concept art drawn on a piece of scrap paper that I used for homework.

5. Within 3-4 days of opening, Studio Zero accumulated around about 4000 posts in total.

6. Studio Zero version 1 took about 2 months to be completed.

I think that's how I remembered it... :-[

Well, Zanmato/Zenith is back up and we're all happy chappies.

So let's end this discussion.

As a final word: Congradulations to Zenith Design back into the market!

Zanmato is actually a Japanese word I believe. ;) Wait for Joe's reply, he'd know.

Yes, "Zanmato" is a japanese word. Though I don't really know what it means, but it has been used as a name for weapons names in the Final Fantasy (such as II and Tatics Advance)

Side note: Man, anything about ZD gets heaps of publicity. It's a stark contrast to Studio Zero. XD

What I say may or may not have an impact to this topic. But I will say it anyway.

I see Zanmato previously before the move away from Proboards quite a bold decision, as many people are so ingrained into the Proboards BBS system. The main reason for the move, I guess, is to escape from certain restrictions which the Proboards Terms of Service imposes.

Seriously, I mean, limiting AJAX and some features which can be changed for the better in the BBS system really limits on how one can improve their board better than before. So in escaping from that limits, I guess Zanmato moved away from the place.

I personally support the Zanmato revival and move. Some people might say "Oh, but you're rivals to them, since you guys are both design sites."

Yes, it's true. We are being branded "rivals" by many. But, we are still part of the Proboards community, and people flow back and forth through us, as each community contribute to many of our different needs and wants.

So as a support for this movement. I'm going to put this thread as an announcement throughout the whole board.

Greg, Nick, Morgoth and any other Ex-Zanmato staff:
Please keep us updated on your progress. I know it's tempting to keep it as a surprise. But do keep all of us informed.
