I've yet to see a case where the login table was allowed. I know a way!  I did it for a request when I was a mod on PBS.... It is allowed - and can be done - but there's only one way to do it!  Create a new form - have it submit to a JS function that'll fill in the NORMAL login form - then submit that normal login form... That or move the old form with JS!

I swear I was told that moving the form was illegal. But yeah, you're right. I forgot about the JS submission method there. I even use it on SZ for a few parts. Fail.
