Ok. So I sent a link to Chris that redirected him to a RickRoll on Smouchy (It's the one you can't close without crashing your browser). He has it blocked locally. I also got Fredy with it (a different link redirect though) and I believe I got Scorp with it. Now, disregarding the latter two, isn't what Chris did cheating? He has a legitimate Rick Roll blocked. I got him to click the link. Should this not count towards the achievement? Couldn't those three install anti-RickRoll GM scripts and make sure no one ever got the achievement? I fooled Chris into going to a RickRoll page but he won't give me the achievement. What are your thoughts on this? Bullshit? Fair? EDIT: Here is the link in question. I'm not sure I got Scorp yet. I know for sure I got Fredy though and I got Chris even though he won't give it to me.

Trust me Josh, I did the same. I did the exact same. I made up a PM asking if this site would be good, and I masked it to Smouch, and he blocked it.
It isn't fair, but I found ways to get it.

Chris didn't have the youtube rickroll blocked when I got him... why not just link to that? EDIT: I'd block that site too if I had any chance of getting linked to it. I'd like to keep the tabs I have open.

What I think he uses is a Rick Roll Protection, that blocks known Rick Roll Links, so if you PM him a You Tube Link that contains a reposted rick roll from recently (just search Rick Roll and sort by most recent --> normally get one from the date you are on), it should work out well.

No, he specifically has Smouchy blocked which is the one I tried to get him with. I DID get him to click the link and I think it should count. He's cheating by having a legitimate RickRoll blocked.

I blocked smouchy.net via my hosts file. (Basically, smouchy.net now redirects to localhost on my computer.) Also, you won't lose your tabs. Open another window in Firefox. Go to Tools -> Options -> Content. Disable JavaScript. Now go through all the alerts on smouchy and you're set.  Or be like me and have it blocked. One of the two.
