FF = Final Fantasy Fx = Firefox On that note, I do forget and use FF from time to time as the abbreviation.

No, FF = Freakin' Fatcakes. And yeah, the UI for Fx 4 does kinda leave something to be desired. However, I do find it to be quite good when the tabs are below the nav bar. I'm not sure who thought it was a good idea to throw them on top and what everybody's smoking that makes them agree. =/

The easiest thing to get to on a screen is the object at the very edge, you don't have to pinpoint your mouse.

Ive never heard anyone use fx for ff. But alright. Because most people are fanboys that don't actually know much about what they're blindly following.

Because most people are fanboys that don't actually know much about what they're blindly following. Are you trying to imply something? I wasn't, but it sounds like you may have a guilty conscious. It's something that'll happen, I mean, people just don't take the time to learn about what they're using and to know more technical information about... well, anything really.

Josh: Not just usability, but it also maximizes the most available space for viewing a webpage.

Josh: Not just usability, but it also maximizes the most available space for viewing a webpage. If they were really worried about that, they could have thrown the tabs in the titlebar like every other browser is and not have had the max width problem.

I thought they were already? Or did I just pay too little attention to the betas and RCs?

I thought they were already? Or did I just pay too little attention to the betas and RCs? Who? Microsoft? No. IE's new interface hasn't been revealed yet (before it is brought up, no one has proven the authenticity of the video demo and it is being called a damn good Fx skin). Mozilla put their tabs up top, but not Microsoft.

I was confused at first, because I usually follow strict laws when abbreviating. In this example, I would have taken the first letter from each syllable, giving that the name is too short to to form a two letter abbreviation. ie. IE... However, as Mozilla have the ultimate call, "Fx" it is. By the way, "fx" is totally wrong.
