What was the first programming language you dove into?

Languages in order of being able to accomplish a task in: HTML, CSS, JS, PHP, Python, Java, C#, Scala, C/C++ (simultaneous)

I have other I can do tasks in, but don't care enough.

Yes and no. Once you learn one or two languages, you're able to be proficient in many others. the difference then is knowledge of external resources. >.< I know almost nothing about Java or Scala libraries, yet that's what I use for my job. Often times I get told "Oh, just use this library!" as an answer to an inquiry to my coworkers. :P

Although I didn't major in CSE, I did take two Java courses as suggested by you. Very insightful indeed.

When i started programming my first language was Visual Basic.NET, Then i moved on to C#, then C++ and so on :P I think it was the easiest language to grasp and understand the concepts of programming
