On my website, it doesn't load anything. It just removes the text [shout]#[/shout]? Is that what it does for you?

I know iframes do, but since different shoutboxes are different sizes, it cant be in an iframe...

Well, not many options I can give you. If the shoutbox didn't work with the script tag, not much can be done.

why not put the code for the shoutbox in a div, than grab the div contents with a document.getelementsbyid or whatever its called(lol), and then display the variable where the iframe code currently is?

Because more than one people may be posting their shoutbox and they would need header/footer access.

Iframe is the really only solution. Unless near the beginning you can make a remotely hosted PHP script in a script tag that outputs an array containing all of the current widthes for boxes, then I can do something.
