Assuming SO looks at this thread again, I'd suggest the screenshot contest you did at HF, except just in he gaming board. Weekly only maybe?

The past screenshot contests I've done were based on ones I took myself, but I'll be thinking of other ideas, too.

Ya, but the things is, how many games do you play? For the screenshot caption contest, you just submit captions based on the screenshot. HOORAY FOR WORD CHOICE I play a decent amount of games, but that doesn't matter too much since I can just take a screenshot of something any time.

Back to more ideas, I was thinking, maybe I could do a weekly/biweekly thing here, but I wouldn't know what. Listing release dates? Talking about anything major that happened? It may not be much, but at least there would always be a new topic here asking for discussion. That is, until I start doing reviews again, which might not be for a while.

How about a thing where every week you start a thread, and you give a game as a subject, then people posts reviews about, and discuss it.

Well, that's what the board is like now. There's a game in the title, and you talk about it. I'll try out the weekly whatever's-on-my-mind thing and see how it turns out.
