revolution.ign.com/articles/673/673799p1.htmlWow, a console I can actually afford at launch, now. Still a rumor though; I think it'll run for around $200 (US). Still pretty cheap considering the price of the 360 and the estimated prices for the PS3. Also there's some rumor talking about an optimized displacement-mapping system for the graphics card, but once again, just some rumors thrown out there for now. Everything should be revealed by May for E3, though.

$200 is bloody cheap in £, yet knowing our country they'll just change it to £200, which is a considerable increase

That'd suck if they did that Jamie. And that rocks I may get it at release if its 150....

Google ConversionThat is quite a bit. $200 is 168 euros... so that's really astounding if they make it 200. =/

when is it supposed to come out? i havent heard. if you think about it 200 or 150 wouldnt be much compared to 360 and rumors of PS3 being 400 According to Iwata, it's coming out before Thanksgiving in North America. Of course, that probably means a week or two before. =P It's also said to be less than the 360, but an official price hasn't come out yet.

They said that Playstation 3 will be $250.00 or $200.00. It going to be less then Xbox 360 for sure. But if Revolution is going to be $150.00 then I going to camp out when they say the launch date.

The PS3 launching in the $200 range? Don't think so. It should probably launch at the price of the regular 360 at least, if not more. Sony gained a profit with the PS2 even though they took a hit with every unit sold, since they made it up with software sales. I doubt a beefed-up PS3 would launch for lower than the PS2 did. Link? =P Anyway, I also think it's unlikely for the Rev to launch so low, either, but hopefully it'll still be cheap.

I don't think that this is ture. The 360 and the Ps3 are around £ 300- 400 and if they lunch it at $150 they won't make any profit

I do think that Nintendo will sell the revaloution at this price. Alot of people may think that the price of the PS3 or 360 is too high. So they will fall back on the revaloution. Plus just think about it. Nintendo is just the kind of comany that would do this.

True. I still think it'll be lower than the PS3 and 360, but I'm not so sure about a range like $150. The GC did launch for $200, after all.
Then again, the dev kits only cost companies around $2,000, which is a great deal (and I think they've already shipped around more than a thousand).

No I think that Dev kits are always around that price but I have no idea having never bought one.
But you are right $150 may be a bit low. $200 is much more resonable.

$2000 is half of what the original PlayStation SDK's cost, though.
