Sony is probably just saying that to make it sound like it'll be impossible to buy, and then release a million or something

Um, I don't think so? =P

They were originally planning to get 2 million units everywhere, but now they've delayed it in Europe 'til next year, and are instead only shipping 500,000 (400k to the U.S., and 100k to Japan).

I forgot what the 360 launch was like (unit-wise). Must have been around the same since that was sold out for months.

Japan's really screwed for this one.

The DS sells more than 100,000 over there in a week, and it's been out for a while. A brand new console coming, and only 100,000 units?

hmm.... i wouldn't buy ps3 if i could get it for $5 i jsut generally don't liek sony or anything they make.

Anyone have any idea about the numbers for the wii?

I don't even think its close to mass production yet.

Well, it's no big loss to me. they're gonna cost loads and the only games that really interest me on it are the FF ones.
