I'm too tired to write a mini review. I played it and I loved it.
Thoughts? Questions? Rants?

I'll rent it since I want to play anything that'll give me more FF7 story, but it seems pretty...not...good? Haven't played it, I'm just basing what I heard from reviews and from watching videos.

I don't like the looks of it. Mainly since it's not RPG. Call me narrow-minded, but I really can't see it being too fun because of that fact.

I loved it. First of all, it's quite RPG-ish. The fact that you level up, customize weapons, get materia, magic, etc., makes it very much like an RPG. The combat system is pretty good since you can completely customize your cross hairs and camera. You can make them inverted, horizontally and vertically, adjust the sensitivity, and choose how automatic the aiming is. Really, there isn't anything to not like about this game. It delves deeper into Vincent's storyline, it's good as a TPS in it's own right, the cinematics are outstanding (think AC graphics), the AI is quite smart (about 85% of their shots hit you), and the enviroments are beautifully designed. I heard the reviews are bad, so I'll look some up. Is this the next Halo? No. But it's damned good and worth buying if you're an FF7 or general Final Fantasy fan. Hell, even if you don't like Final Fantasy, but you like third person shooters, you may enjoy this. I say you should give it a shot because even if you are dissappointed in it, it's not like it'll totally suck. Edit: ps2.ign.com/articles/724/724990p1.htmlIn my opinion, that review hit dead on. A 7 is a perfect score for this game, especially since FF7 fans will enjoy it even more. There are issues, but for the most part, it's a solid shooter and worth at least renting.
