Its most likely to come out soon for xbox 360. Mostly every game thats out is for xbox360

They could, but you wouldn't have as good of a story line, or game play. Not to mention, the maps would suck.

As it is, the game has to install itself with every act you play. Obviously, they had to heavily compress it all to fit on the blu-ray disc. It'll take about 11 dvds (or 6 dual-layered) to match a blu-ray disc, so the potential xbox version would have to come in a box set in order to be a game. It would also probably have to come in a max of 720p in order to keep the cost down.
In addition to this, the metal gear solid series has always been a playstation-only game. Even if a way was found to fit it on a dvd, Konami probably wouldn't even bother.

What is with the Remake of MGS1 Twin Snakes for GC, and MGS on gameboy color?
there was also a remake of MGS2 for Xbox and PC.
So the chances of this making it on Xbox 360 aren't 100% Impossible and this series isn't a Playstation-only like you've said.
