How about we have the teams that are working on both keep on going at it, lol, it's not like we only have a few people to cure things one at a time.

Anyways I'm not too excited until it's confirmed 100% this will cure aids, I've seen way too many stories about miracle cures that go nowhere on digg.

It's worked in lab mice and they have safely administered it to a human patient. I think it is close enough to get out hopes up.

Lets keep in mind though that it still is a "Trial of anti-AIDS vaccine". Even if they safely administered it to a human they have to wait and watch for possible side effects and sometimes that could take forever. Sometimes patients don't show side effects for years or sometimes decades, so if they go ahead and test on others and something later along the road does come up with their first patient they can be in for some big trouble.

But then again, the patient would likely die by that time without the vaccine if it is proven to work.

ok. I'll admit Cancer is higher up on the priorities list. I'll agree on that.

But I want asthma to be after that.

Sorry for the double post but I found this too creepy to pass up posting.

Seriously guys, I've seen at least 5 of these stories about cures that are next to guaranteed to cure cancer or aids.
