while I realize you are going for a black and white look, you might try having the arms fade to eventually having a red glow on one arm, and a blue glow on the other.

The red and blue should be like... fire colored glows, not nasty red and blue.

I can kind of imagine what it COULD look like like that, but I just can't see it looking good

Why don't you drop some inverted lines through each side?

It looks like the female reproductive system.

You could add maybe more of a background. And like Fredy said, some color.

Maybe a background pattern or texture. I would make it less wide too >

Seeing as Stinky deleted his account here and at SI and has no intention of coming back, there is no reason for this thread to stay open anymore as he probably won't see the advice anymore.

But it obviously had not garnered any attention in two+ weeks until you bumped it. It shouldn't even be locked. Just because he is no longer a member does not mean he would not appreciate any extra critique we gave his work.

Critique he wouldn't see, while other members who are still "here" go unrated, because not everyone rates every single image.
