I'm having to learn Japanese as part of my career choice (another topic), and a friend and I noticed that there's an error in the Katakana for the 'post' text above each post.

Currently, it reads 'po-(x)o-ssu-to'.

Should it not read 'po-su-to'?

My knowledge of Japanese is still very immature as of now.

You should totally make a 'Nihongo Samurai' award for this...

Talk to Joe. All the Japanese or whatever it is was done by him. He's from New Zealand so it could be wrong.

He's also perfectly fluent (I believe) in Chinese (don't even start with me) and fairly good at Japanese (if I remember right). He might be fluent in both.

Good point. It might not even be Japanese for all I know.

But fluent does not mean you write it 100% correctly. :P I'll PM him a link to this thread and he'll get back to you.

Spoken, Japanese is really quite simplistic, and the Hiragana and Katakana syllabaries are fairly easy. But adding the language and the syllabaries together add a little Kanji, and you've got one hell of a complex nabe...

I would personally go with "po-su-to".

It would actually sound more fluent. =D

Yeah... Joe has spoken. :P I'm sticking with his word for now, except, I'm too lazy to change the katakana. :D Nor do I have the fonts necessary.
