SZ held SOTW a while ago, but it was canceled because of inactivity. Unless major support is gathered, I doubt it will be brought back.

come on people this is a Design forum, every design forum needs SOTW.

i think we need to get everyone back togeva and start it up again.

not really, but if you want you can ask hotshot to create one in the contest board, see if it picks up popularity, and based on those results decide to go further/stop.

Yeah, I ran it. Chris ran it. I think Kay ran it too. It just was never active. No matter what we did, it seemed.

I actually think it's a cool idea.

Pretty much what everyone else said. SZ, though a great design forum, seems to have catered more to coders than anything else (or at least has been more resourceful for codes thanks to Chris (and many others, of course)). So even though we have a lot of talented designers, few of them ever pursued it much beyond their own uses. So no one was really up for making a new sig every week. And yeah, it just kind of fell through.

SZ is more of a coding forum!

OK then, how about this. is there any where that i can challenge so one to like a battle or something. for example me and against someone and another person choose the rules and the forum vote on the winner?

Yeah, I was originally brought on staff as the SOTW mod. But, it never really did pick up activity, even at the beginning of SZ's run. Then elpeef did it for a bit, then Josh, then Chris. Or something. It never really was that much of a hit with SZ members.

Funny story.. I read my pms upon logging onto SZ first and told Virus to make a thread about having a SOTW in the feedback board. Then I come here and see this.. lmfao.
