I can't really comment until it's more "full" but the Blue (#0000FF) text on Red (#FF0000) is not something that should be done...

I really hate to say this, but your forum looks really ugly because of one small thing. The images, while .png's, look like they've been saved first as .JPEGs. Therefore, the quality is poor and that's a big turn off.

 nicely done....one thing. the top of your forum between the arrows and the city. it seems to me to be curved down ever so slightly...it might look better straighten out... also the border around your forum the edges barely show but they are visible see if yo can round them out....
