The light flash looks weird. try blurring it, or duplicating it, placing it a layer behind, and blurring that.

I did experiment with a basic blur look, but it wasn't as sharp. Since I've decided to release like a free Flash stock (ClipArt) pack, I'm a little pressed for time too.

personally i can't do what you do with flash...cause your amazing. the only problem is for me its the timing of the flash itself. you have the blue and red flash at the same time is there anyway to layer the flash to have the timing of the spin of the light differ from its brother....don't know if that made sense.

Thanks - Flash is really easy, honestly; have a look on Adobe's site for a trial and just mess with it.

I think I know where your going, a sort of more "analog" rotation? I thought, I'd keep it really simple in the terms of animation for two reasons, it's gonna be stuck in a sort of ClipArt for web masters who'd benefit from this sort of thing, and with the whole clip art thing, I'm looking at maybe several hundred SWF animations, so time's a short.

I did experiment with several rotation patterns though:

111-000, 000-111

123-321 321-123

000-123 123-000

and finally,

101-010 010-101

I found the latter less complex but effective.
