Last night I installed Ubuntu onto my computer. When it finally got booted up, the resolution was completely fucked up. I have a 1280x1024 monitor, but the highest resolution option in the Display Settings was 800x600. I honestly have no clue how to set it up to 1280x1024. This might not be the right board, but I need help.

See if you can change out the graphics card driver. If not, google search. I ran into this a few years back with fedora core. There's a solution, but I forget what it is.

I lol'd. Why couldn't you have just googled it in the first place? Because it's nice to get more personal support from people you know. Especially since Eric is a known Linux user here.
