Anyone give the new Alice In Chains album a listen yet? This is the first album since legendary singer Layne Staley died in 2002 and many have been crying hypocrisy over them getting a new singer. The new guy is actually pretty good. With help from Cantrell, he pulls of the sound he needs to pull off and he does it well. He's not Layne Staley, though. No one ever will be and no one can ever replace him. But the new guy is pretty decent.

The album itself... is pretty meh and forgettable. There's three songs that I really like: Check My Brain, A Looking In View (a 7 minute track of awesomeness), and All Secret Known. All Secrets Known is where the new singer sounds most like Layne Staley and also where he sounds best.
