The mercury is a powder, so just break the bulb in a big enough container and transfer it over if you really feel like it.
Truthfully though, it's best not to mess with it.

That's true, actually. I don't know how it got on my computer (my anti-virus is pretty good), but after I deleted it, my computer runs way faster and Vista stops fucking up all the time.

Mercury is really tasty, I've heard. I haven't tried it, because I'm allergic, but I heard it's really good.

I was wondering if anyone here knew how to remove/take out mercury from a spiral energy efficient light bulb? I don't want to break the bulb and have it squirt all over, or ruin it. I just want a small amount to keep in a glass container or vial. And yes, I know it's dangerous and whatnot. What reason do you want to keep it in a container or vial?
