Sure they're not new, but in my and many of my friends' minds they're the best band that ever lived. George was definitely the coolest Beatle.
What do you think about the Beatles? What's your favorite song if you like them?

I don't find them that good, which apparently makes me blasphemous. Sure, I appreciate that they revolutionized music, but I'm glad that music has extended past what they made.

Can't say I enjoy any of their music. Perhaps Come Together, but, even then, it's only because I appreciate how much better it is than the Aerosmith cover.
That being said, John Lennon was one of the greatest lyrical geniuses to ever live. Imagine remains my all time favorite song, lyrics wise.

I kinda grew up with the oldies, so the Beatles are one of my favorite bands.  Favorite song? A Hard Day's Night possibly. Or Yesterday. I've never really thought about it, so I don't know.
