According to Neowin, the original RickRoll video was taken down on YouTube due to a Terms-of-User violation. Needless to say, a lot of people were strangely upset with it. Just look over the comments on that article. Of course, it wasn't a serious move. As mentioned in the article, it was just a mistake. As has always been the case, moderating YouTube videos is like trying to find the people with an STD of some sort at any given party. It's just not possible. As with that scenario, they just have to trust the community. Of course, that doesn't always work. They got screwed over as a result. Ending the analogy, they were able to reverse it, of course. The video is now back up and just as irritating as it used to be. Soooo... is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Yeah. It's just not funny anymore. I mean, if it's genuinely a clever RickRoll, it's funny because it's clever. But most of the time, it's not even clever. It's just someone not paying attention because they don't care.
