So I'm making a list of 101 things I want to do/achieve in life. It's pretty damn hard. I'm at 45 and stuck.

But it made me wonder, what do you goons see yourselves doing with your life? What are some things you would like to accomplish?

  • Provide for my mate and I.
  • Make enough to live comfortably and help others.
  • Become a teacher (either career or hobby).
  • Get kidnapped by a quirky Gallifreyan in a blue police box.

I have tons of "short term" goals including finishing some long standing projects, but other then that, my list is fairly similar to Aaron's. 1-2 are obviously identical (those should honestly be goals of everyone, albeit in different ways.) Past that, I don't know what I want to do with my life. :P Kinda saddening, but oh well.

Some of mine:
5. Learn Japanese.
11. Learn a martial art.
12. Learn to fly a plane.
14. Run a programming company that has customers, not clients.
15. Never have to worry about money or working for the sake of money.
21. Become a best selling author.
23. Live in Japan for 2 years or more.
28. Reach nirvana/enlightenment.
36. Have ten or more people working for me within a year.
40. Shake hands with a President.
60. Seriously change at least one person's life for the better.

14 - I really like the distinction there. That's a good one honestly. :P
21 - Interesting one... good luck. :P I doubt I could ever do that.
40 - Always a good one. I assume they don't have to be in office?

21 - Why not, it's been done by less intelligent people. And twilight is proof that it doesn't take amazing writing skills to be able to do it.
40 - I'd prefer in office, but I guess I could settle for not in office.

We have seriously similar goals apart from 11, 12 and 40. (and 36, although it _would_ be nice)

Well this is the abbreviated list. Just some highlights, the full list is currently at like 65, so I need 36 more.

Eric: Have you added stuff like seeing certain national monuments (i.e. Mount Rushmore)? going to certain countries? Stuff like that?

Don't really care to much about national monuments, but I have traveling through Europe, vacationing in Hawaii, etc.

I've tried to do some in each of these categories:
-Financial
-Travel
-Relationships
-Knowledge/Learning
-Accomplishments
-Material Wants
-Charity

Just an example. I would think there would be a few major ones that you'd like to see at least though. :P

For the most part, not really. I think the smaller places that show culture are much more fascinating than the landmarks.
