Did you know that 10/10/10 was the answer to life?

101010 in binary is 42. And 42 is the answer to life according to Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. ;)

I agree with Nocando - good content, needs to be more attention grabbing.

11010000110010 will work just fine, for that.

And I don't get it...what does that number signify (it's not often I see anyone use binary go up to 8192 as a stored value)?

I was under the impression it had to be divisible by 8? This conversation isn't painting me in a sophisticated light at all :/

I'm not quite sure what you're talking about here when you say it needs to be divisible by 8.

And, if I split yours into two strings of 8, I still don't understand the number. Decimal equivalent is 52 and 50.

I assume, thinking about it, you mean the strings... and that's true to an extent. For posting binary I always separate it wherever I know the space to be. Largely because it's less work for me :P.

Why put 00000010 for "2" when I can just put 10?
