Not sure if there was a thread on this or not.

Anyways, pretty nifty feature. Let's me know if I'm about to go onto a hideous looking site or not.

Not sure. But if you click on the white-space (or the magnifying glass) of any search result, you'll see a preview on the right.

You might need to be logged into a google account. Not sure.

This is going to make finding porn so much easier.

Yes, it was difficult to begin with.

Shut up.

Hasnt other websites had that feature for like, 3 years?

You could implement it, but the point is Google finally did it themselves as a built in feature. :P And it actually shows where your searches match content in the page.

Just thought I'd bump this. I often use the google time limits on the results to only see recent updates/posts/articles (handy when you're looking for a certain piece of news).

Today I googled "facebook down" and was offered a "latest" time option. Upon clicking it, I was shown a screen with about the last 5 minutes of news, ordered by time released. Then I watched as the results were updated live with tweets, yahoo answers questions, articles from mashable, huffington post, gizmodo.

All-in-all I think it's pretty cool. You can actually watch the news aggregating on a certain subject in live time. Nifty little feature. Google is starting to outdo themselves.

After a search, on the left under "more search tools." I think google starts remembering what you use often though, because I haven't had to click it for a while.

... Quite a few useful functions there. :P Figures I missed them.
