I really like this. I have a thing for simple and sleek designs and I think you did a good job at executing this logo. Although may I suggest slightly intensifying the gradient in the background? When I first look at the image I'm obviously drawn immediately to the text in the center, and the bg becomes lost to me. It almost appears as if it is simply plain gray text on a plain gray bg. The gradient adds another element, however like I said it can become lost. Now I'm not saying it needs to look like a blinding flash, but in my opinion i should be able to notice it without having to look for it. But all in all this is a very nice logo. :)
