Hey, I was just wondering how admin editable hacks work. Like, I don't want to know everything, but like, where do you store the information? That's probably the only thing that I really can't figure out.

Basically, an admin-editable hack works with a few simple steps.
1) It inserts a link(s) into the admin panel.
2) The links will lead to the modify headers/footers page. You can set if it's the global or main area.
3) They hide the table with the textareas and replace it with another table
4) You enter in info
5) A JS function automatically updates the info in the header/footer textareas
6) It reads stored variables and works from there.

Oh, so something like Crossfury actually redirects you to the modify headers/footers page? Basically. Just read the tutorials (there's two or three), they cover it fairly nicely.

Admin editables are very easy, once you finish your first. If you think about it on a whole, your barely doing anything.
