I perfer the First more,i think the character adds more to the sig. the colors are well use together and everthing blend well. I like how the character is blended into the background. nicely done. What does that character stand may i ask?

Very nice work. I personally prefer the first also. The (text) character adds a bit of a change to the signature, yet isn't too distracting. Now, I personally find the upper left hand corner a bit to plain. Not sure what you could add to it however, so I'll leave it at that.
The sig overall is very nice and I can't really see what else you could do to improve it.

The upper left corner is like that because that's where the light source is at.  And the text is "S" if I remember correctly, it has no meaning.. it just adds to the sig.
