I'm gonna have to disagree with Marc here, leave the stripes. I think you could work on messing with the opacity and fading some away into the background and taking chunks out of them and stuff like that though

Other than that, I really don't have any comments. You pulled the style off very well, Kay. Just make the text a little bit more readable. Lose the font maybe. I also know how much this sig means to you so I honestly don't feel you should change it that much
