I hate Ads... Im not sure but wuld anyone prefer them on the sides? Oh, wow. Proboards would lose a lot of users if they did that.

I see no written rule in the ToS against what I'm doing. I have not tampered with the ads at all. I moved the posts location. The ad is in the same table it was always in, unmoved. If they add a rule, then yes, I'll have to make a change. But I'd leave PB before I'd have to recode SZ's, SoCal's, and all the public codes for this.

That's what I told a lot of ppl - Chris hasn't done anything wrong - but the way its working shifts the ADS and Pat and others at PBS have been stressing to not do more with the ADS than shift it a lil left or right or make it float on top between first and second post only during the trial run.  but look here - first point.

But I'd leave PB before I'd have to recode SZ's, SoCal's, and all the public codes for this. 1) Our trial period for the placement of these ads will go until April 16th. 2) After this trial period, we will be implementing an option in the admin panel to change the display location of the ads. If you prefer them to be only displayed at the top, you will have this option. No need to recode anything it will be back , as it was before on the 16 th of this month , right ?

Hopefully just 3 days and this ends.  (Jeez... They didn't even code the floating ads to center themselves properly..)

Smart move in my opinion. Hopefully they will get that option in the admin panel soon.

I'm hoping they do reconsider and provide that option soon. It is long needed (even if it is only a few days) and would please many people.

I thought you had Ad-Free for SZv2? We ran low on credits and decided to conserve the 14 we had for something special. I unfortunately had to send 7 to SoCal, so there goes that idea. Glad they are adding an admin option for the ads.. Otherwise i'd be pissed. I've been using v1 for awhile now.. So doesn't really bother me.

As you may (or may not have) noticed already, Version One has been made the default skin of Studio Zero. Why? Two reasons. 1. Those annoying ads that ProBoards decided to place between posts broke the Version Two post splitter, and Version One's was easier to use. 2. Version Two's loading times had become too great and were limiting the activity of Studio Zero. Version One loads much faster (and there are still a few optimizations to be made), and therefore is a much better choice. Version Two is still selectable as a skin in your profile if you wish to use it. Version Zero is also there and is the fastest loading of the Studio's skins. Very nice Chris. Verison Zero and one runs nicely. Your doing a great job  I'm glad after the 16th we will get the option to move the Ads. They are becoming a pain.
