As you may (or may not have) noticed already, Version One has been made the default skin of Studio Zero. Why? Two reasons. 1. Those annoying ads that ProBoards decided to place between posts broke the Version Two post splitter, and Version One's was easier to use. 2. Version Two's loading times had become too great and were limiting the activity of Studio Zero. Version One loads much faster (and there are still a few optimizations to be made), and therefore is a much better choice. Version Two is still selectable as a skin in your profile if you wish to use it. Version Zero is also there and is the fastest loading of the Studio's skins. Also, just wanna mention it now instead of with a new thread. The Archive board is now hidden from regular members.

Chris, with the way this skin loads you should just swap images with v2. Shouldn't be that hard. You'd have to redo the menu buttons, but that wouldn't take too long. Just use that as the Lite version.

Yeah, pretty much. Use v1 and just make it look like v3. That way you don't need to redo much coding, if any, to get it to load right. And besides, it is very traditional which new members love to see.

Would be almost Equally complicated in either case.
Temp fixes are needed till the spaces are fixed up, and the post splitter needs a few changes. Chris may however sit on any bigger coding changes till PB ads the admin feature for the adverts.

Yeah, using v1's coding for v2 is harder then recoding v2 as v2 Lite. v2 Lite wouldn't be a recode... it'd be features dropped. That's the easy stuff.

All i can say is, 'kin ads.. EDIT: Why is the ad now showing ABOVE your first post, instead of below it, CD ?

I think thats an after-effect of Chris' post-splitter and it is shifting the ad to a new table. It's not allowed by the TOS but the ad-related probs shud finally end on April 16th thank God! Chris is too good of a coder to have to go and redo all his codes because of this shitty problem.

Its not going to the sides. On April 16th, admins will get the option to keep the ads either between post 1 and 2 or retain them only at the top of the forum (which is way better imo).
