As I'm sure a few of you may have noticed that I placed the forum into Maintenance Mode for a few hours.
Why?
Well, I cannot get into the details, but let's just say that some events took place over at SSD that could've and still might, indirectly affect (and spread to) the Studio. I was taking the precautions I thought necessary by making that decision.
Registration is limited and must be approved through an administrator first. This is a lingering precaution for the time being. If you know of anything that happened at SSD please, do not release the details. Out of respect for me since I was in the middle of the horrid mess.

SSD, I just looked around for a few seconds and found a thread containing some harsh words. From what I've read it seems like a icky situation.

Except for the fact that the only threads containing this information are located in hidden boards there. Tell me, how did you come across this "thread"?

I just read a thread in the departures board, I didn't get all the info I just found out somebody was mad at somebody else, there was an argument, and the buddy was banned.

That would be a more viable solution, or just pre-ban the IP...

Or you could just ban any trouble makers that sign up.... I've already banned the two that could cause problems. The difficulty with that is they use proxies, and other means to get past their bannings at SSD as it is. So they wouldn't hesitate to do it here. Just a precaution.
