I've seen many coding standards implemented from w3c. Such as HTML, JS, CSS, PHP etc. But I was wondering: is there a so called "Graphics standard" where certain graphics must be in certain length, shape etc.?

the only type of standard i've really seen is that of a wallpaper... because a screen can only be a certain amount of fixed resolutions wallpapers must be set to a few resolution sizes... eg (800 x 600, 1024 x 786, 1280 x 1024 ) etc...

i haven't really seen a standard on anything else other than wallpapers, because designers are always changing and trying to be original... you can't be original if all your work is the same size as everyone else..

well thats my opinion newayz
