The simple round borders... although VERY similar to PS, I've decided to explain it my own way, using PSP... VERY DETAILED, so I don't have to be bothered in explaining this again :P

ENJOY!

The VERY DETAILED Round Border Tutorial for Paint Shop Pro!
By Smangii of Slightly Insane

1) Have you signature or image open and ready, without any borders on it. For this tutorial, I'll use this image:

2) Go to the Selection Tool on the Toolbar as such:

Then use the following settings; Rounded Rectangle with Anti-Alias CHECKED.

3) Then, starting at the very top corner of your signature:

Click and drag the selection tool to the opposite, bottom corner of your signature. Let go of the mouse. This should leave a dotted/dancing round border as such:

4) Then on the Menu Bar, to go to Selections --> Invert:

You should now be left with something like this:

5) After that's done, hit the "DELETE" key on your keyboard. This should have deleted the outer portion of your sig, and left a "checker-board" background like this:

Good? Then presss Ctrl + D on your keyboard to de-select.

6) Then go to FILE --> Export --> Gif Optimizer:

7) A new window should have popped up. On your first "Transparency" Tab, use the "existing layer or transparency" bullet:

For your "Partial Transparency" Tab, use these settings:

OR, for best results click the bullet;
Yes, Blend with Background color, (And set the color to #ffffff)

For your "Colors" Tab, I am going to use these settings but you might want to fidget with these to match your sig best, since GIFs tend to mess with the colors of the image.

Keep all other tabs at the default.

Then, click "OK" and save your image as whatever, pick a name.

8) That's pretty much it! Upload your image with an image host, and preview it so you can see what it looks like. Here's mine:

I hope that explained enough, i went into as much detail... if you STILL have any questions, just reply back or PM me. =)

Enjoy, happy round-border-ing.

I love you for this. Really. I've been wanting to learn how to get this done seeing as I use PSPXI and this is very helpful. Thank you. :)
