Anybody play any of the MGS games? I've played MGS, 2, and 3. How about you? What'd you think of them?

I watched my friend play MSG2 while I was at his house once. It looked pretty fun, but kinda difficult. Then again, I don't own a PS1/2, so pretty much any game on them would be difficult for me.

Alright then. Go ahead and rip off your arm, freeze it, and sell it. Then, you should have about enough to buy a PS3. Get it when it comes out

MGS and MGS2 aren't really difficult, unless of course you're playing on the higher difficulty modes. MGS3: Snake Eater takes some getting used to 'cause they took out the radar, but the new camera in Subsistence makes up for that. The original Metal Gear is a complete bitch to play. MG2: Solid Snake wasn't as bad but I never got far in that, either. I showed my friend some of the games and he seemed kinda bored with them. Then a few months later I find out he's obsessed and is planning to buy a PS3 just for MGS4. WTF. He also bought Snake Eater even though I showed him Subsistence, meaning there's really no reason to buy SE now that Subsistence has come out. But that's another story.

I've never played the original MG & MG2 games. Do you know how I could get them?

The easiest way would be to buy MGS3: Subsistence, which has both of the games. They're just translated ports of the cell phone versions for the most part. It's the first time you can play MG2:SS in English, too (unless you count Snake's Revenge, which doesn't/shouldn't really count).

So, basically, they're so old and small you can put them on the same disk as a full fledged new one?

MGS 1 was the best but the graphics let it down a bit
