I don't know if I ask for help much, but I'm supposed to find a map that lists all the hurricanes that've occurred since June 1st (of this year, I think).
Of course, my teacher failed to give us a website to go to, and either I suck at searching, or the type of map he wants is harder to come across than originally planned.
If anyone has free time, can you find one for me? It's due tomorrow. >_<

Shoot, even I tried, then again I hate assignments like that, so it might just be my brain not letting me. Sorry I couldn't help.

Well, thanks for trying. I don't think my teacher even realizes how specific he got.

No problem, and teachers had a tendancy of doing that. *kicks teacher*

Thanks, CD. I found a site with really detailed maps, but it was last updated in April and the 2005 map ISN'T UP YET. So I took the 2004 map, copied it into Photoshop, erased the "2004" text and added "2005" instead. I doubt that'll work, though, since he might know which hurricanes happened when. But hey...it looks real. I could say it was the site's fault.
But a real map would be appreciated. =P

You got a cover plan that should get you a 50%.... now to search harder

Wait, I forgot we have to include the URL of where we went. He might check up on it. Dammit. Yeah, I'll need to search harder.

Easy. First, find a world map. Second, find some sort of history place like CNN or something that covers that stuff. Find out names and places of hurricanes. Do a google image search for hurricanes and find a nice picture. Then Photoshop in the hurricane images onto the map where the site said they were and then type the names. So the hard part is finding info on them, but if you do a search fo Hurricane History or something, it should be somewhat easy. If you don't have Photoshop, I'm sure someone here would be willing to help. See SO, look now, two edit texts. One is the real one, one is my sig.

Nah, I have Photoshop (I mentioned that; it's how I managed to put in 2005 instead of 2004 on the one map I found), but that's too much work. I ended up finding a map...it kind of sucks, but it has the most relevant info I could find. www.solar.ifa.hawaii.edu/Tropical/Gif/wld.latest.gif
