I saw it, it had its moments but most of it was retarded. It really depicted Kazakhis far worse than they really are. They're more civilized than most Americans. =\

I like most of the jokes, many of them were quite clever as well! ^.^
Though some of the parts are just wrong...I'm not going to spoil it. And I cringed a bit on some of the anti-semite and racist remarks. If you look at it from a purely joking point of view with no intention of actual put-downs.
If others are going to watch this film, I'd recommend it, but you need to be very open about some of the scenes/jokes depicted. And I do mean it.

Click Here for the trailer. This has to be the funniest flick in a long time! Oh, it is I suggest that you not go if you are affended easily by racial and religious slurs. He calls black people "chocolate faces" and he picks on several religions. Just a heads up But all in all, a very awesome movie.

I saw it with my friend. Personally, I thought it was a good movie, though not as good as everyone was making it sound. There were a lot of parts where I thought, 'sadly this is true,' and things like that. It holds a lot of truth in a parody sense, but it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be. Oh, and the story was weak.

A Kazahki author nominated the guy who played Borat for a national medal for "Putting Kazahkistan on the world map." And then the rest of Kazakhstan followed by boycotting the movie and putting it down, right?
